Job Description

Your main missions will be:

  • You’ll be the key person supporting the Sales Excellence Director on standard product pricing strategy and implementation.
  • You will lead other commercial initiative projects, aiming at increasing sales efficiency.
  • You would be supporting and reporting to the global “Sales Excellence Manager” for Veolia Water Technologies (VWT).

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Sales Excellence director on standard product pricing.
  • Developing total lifecycle value pricing strategies for our core standard product range.
  • Identifying and prioritizing product and application developments.
  • Working closely with the Sales Excellence director, procurement and finance teams.
  • Conducting data-driven win/loss analysis for key products.
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and pricing performance.
  • Preparing analysis on change requests from the sales team.
  • Assisting in developing pricing strategies for new products and services.
  • Collaborating with product, sales, procurement and finance teams on pricing decisions.
  • Identifying unmet needs and developing value propositions.
  • Supporting other transversal business excellence topics as needed.

Preferred location: Around key Veolia Water Technologies Europe offices (greater London, greater Paris, Hannover, Milan, Madrid, Dublin).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or technology; MBA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of B2B work experience, preferably in the Water Treatment Industry.
  • Experience with multinational teams.
  • Strategic thinker who can implement change.
  • Experience in developing and executing global sales strategies.
  • Experience in value proposition development and value-based pricing.
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
  • Prior experience in a similar role managing pricing processes.
  • Strong understanding of pricing strategies and concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written English is mandatory; knowledge of French is an added value.
