The job

AVEVA is partnering with Schneider Electric as a channel to develop a 2x software growth. Our GTM model with Schneider Electric is Sell with SE, Sell through SE, and Sell to SE. This position is focusing on Sell with SE and Sell through SE.

This role is responsible for supporting and driving sales engagement on software globally between AVEVA and Schneider Electric, both on energy management and industrial automation software.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for the growth of AVEVA's software portfolios through the AVEVA team and Schneider Electric to meet AVEVA's objectives globally.
  • Enable and support AVEVA sales teams to position the combined suite of software portfolios to meet customer requirements through a combined agnostic unique value proposition.
  • Work with each vertical in Schneider Electric to develop a plan by application to drive on AVEVA's strategic objectives to diversify its portfolio, growing subscription, new logos, and iARR.
  • Penetrate energy management focusing on Power & Grid, Digital energy, mobility, in addition to the new applications within the industrial segments such as industrial water, CCUS, EV batteries, and Semicon.
  • Be a liaison between the AVEVA sales team and Schneider Electric's software-centric automation team from the industry side and the energy management software team.
  • Work with the AVEVA training leader to develop a training program for AVEVA's and Schneider Electric teams on the combined UVPs.
  • Work closely with sales teams to develop and deploy growth programs, initiatives, and winning strategies focusing on cloud solutions and SaaS.
  • Be current with all product offerings and solutions to be seen as a subject matter expert.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify gaps in the market and position our company and our offerings for success.
  • Responsible for the identification and implementation of strategic growth and transformation activities.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to position a marketing plan for the developed UVPs by applications.
  • Hold a global AVEVA's software performance view and develop a control tower reporting for new logos, ARR, and iARR.
  • Deploy the rules of engagement and the operating agreements with Schneider Electric.

Essential requirements

  • Bring a sense of commercial intensity to drive sales growth in this role.
  • Degree in engineering and/or software. MBA is an asset.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in sales & marketing in Industrial Automation/energy management and software portfolios.
  • Must be able to deploy consultative selling techniques.
  • Experience in working with strategic partners and distributor channels.
  • Strategic thinker with commercial leadership.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to communicate at a senior level in a global environment.
