Job Description: Global Indirect Category Manager

We are looking for a Global Indirect Category Manager responsible for managing the indirect spend categories of Fleet and Travel for a global organization. This includes developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs, improve service levels, and manage risk. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the indirect procurement process, as well as experience in negotiating with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs, improve service levels, and manage risk for the indirect spend categories of Fleet and Travel.
• Manage the supplier relationship lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation to contract management and performance evaluation.
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements.
• Develop and manage category plans that align with the company's overall business goals.
• Monitor and report on category performance against KPIs.
• Advocate for the interests of the company and ensure that suppliers are held accountable to their commitments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a focus on Fleet and Travel.
• Strong understanding of the indirect procurement process.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
