Are you an experienced Payroll Specialist looking to take on an exciting challenge in a multi-country role? A dynamic and fast-paced company is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to manage payroll for five European markets: France, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Switzerland.

Your Role

As the Payroll Specialist, you will:

• Oversee payroll operations for a headcount of approximately 550 employees across five countries.
• Be the primary point of contact for payroll-related matters in France and the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with payroll providers, particularly in the Netherlands, and review payslips for accuracy.
• Play a pivotal role in changing payroll providers, ensuring a seamless transition while maintaining compliance.
• Work closely with the global HR team, reporting directly to HQ.
• Utilize internal tools (currently Excel-based) with plans to implement Workday in the near future.

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Fluency in French and English (non-negotiable).
• 3–5 years of payroll experience, with expertise in payroll systems and regulations for France and the Netherlands.
• A proven ability to work autonomously in a standalone role while staying connected with a global team.
• Strong knowledge of payroll laws and the ability to proactively research and address regulatory requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and adaptability to new systems.
• A proactive mindset and excellent organizational skills to navigate the complexities of multi-country payroll.
