The Medicine Department provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care across multiple specialties, emphasising acute care and ongoing advancements.
The geriatric ward prioritises teamwork, professional growth, and close collaboration with a skilled nursing staff. Additionally, the clinic has an active research component, offering opportunities for clinical involvement and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
As a geriatric specialist, you will have a varied role encompassing both inpatient and outpatient work. The weekend on-call rotation is divided into six parts, with all senior doctors rotating through different tasks. This structure provides an excellent opportunity for diverse professional development.
Qualifications:
- European authorisation as a medical professional.
- European certification in internal medicine and geriatrics.
- Knowledge and expertise in geriatrics.
- Strong communication skills in English and motivation to learn Norwegian (free language course provided).
- Clean criminal record, documented with a police certificate in accordance with the Health Personnel Act.
