Meliá Paris La Défense, a 4 stars hotel located in the financial heart of Paris, captures the essence of the French capital. This city hotel boasts an inspiring design, chic ambience, and stunning architectural profile, resembling a grand ship unfurling its sails.

Mission of the Position:

Reporting to the France Director of Operations, the role would be responsible for:

  • The Operations of the Hotel: Planning, coordination, management, supervision, and analysis of results from all Hotel Departments.
  • Directing and inspiring the high performance of hotel teams, continuously evaluating and maintaining high service, quality, and productive processes and workflow.
  • Ensuring the smooth implementation of the procedures and policies of Melia Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience as General Manager or Hotel Manager in urban hotels.
  • 360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge.
  • Hostess profile, person able to be front of the operations and guest-focused.
  • Attention to detail & a passion for excellence.
  • University diploma/degree, preferably in Tourism (or equivalent Hospitality and Tourism studies).
  • International experience is preferred.
  • Able to work with an Operations Center.
  • Functional knowledge of all department operations.
  • Demonstrated ability in Human Resources Management, Talent Development, and people-oriented approaches.
  • Motivated, adaptable, innovative, and able to think outside of the box.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • High geographical flexibility is preferred.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in French is mandatory.
  • English language is mandatory.
  • Able to reside in Paris (France).
