The Solution Architect in Murex is someone who has the curiosity and ability to collect and master expertise in many disciplines and she / he is able to draw on that wide knowledge base to recognize patterns, connect dots and improvise solutions. She / he is able to look at the complex problem in its globality and break it down to smaller solvable pieces.
She / he provides the link between the variety of different experts (Trading, Operations, Finance, ERM, PAC, Test, Project methodology…) helping to explain to each of them why the work they are doing relates to the work other people are doing, sometimes making the non-obvious connection between things. The characteristics of a solution architect is a high openness to new experience, a thirst for cognition.

Your profile / Who you are
Team and context
The Instance Life Cycle (ILC) Department hosts all of Murex’s service offers and aims for Murex to be the partner of choice to our clients.
The key vision of ILC Architecture is that with Murex involvement over the full life cycle of the instance, the client can optimize TCO and get the Benefits / Values from time to market innovations launch (while increasing revenue and protecting Murex Position). Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of the portfolio of instances during the whole life cycle: sustainable design (faster, better, cheaper and more flexible) to reduce time to value, better knowledge of the instance usage and the business real needs, better upgrades for shorter time to market.
Today, more than ever, we often have to solve complex problems in the Murex instance life cycle (presales, projects, productions) that requires the team to bring together knowledge from different areas of expertise.
Hence, the need for individuals with a T-shaped expertise; someone who possesses deep domain expertise in at least one specific area (Front-office, Operations, Finance, ERM, Integration, Testing …), together with the ability to use this knowledge to cut across the silos, is what the Architecture domain is looking for to contribute to the growth of the team.
