FPSO Lead Telecom Engineering Services

The service holder shall provide support to the FPSO Engineering Manager and the FPSO engineering team, in coordinating the engineering studies performed by the FPSO EPSCC Contractor.

Tasks to be performed

• HSE tasks:
  • Demonstrate exemplary behavior with regards to HSE
  • Implement HSE requirements within the Telecom area.
• Engineering tasks:
  • Supervise and coordinate the telecom engineering related activities performed by the EPSCC Contractor
  • Provide support and expertise and contribute with regards to his discipline
  • Challenge and support the Contractor in the value engineering exercise. Promote alternative designs to optimize cost, work, and schedule
  • Timely review and comment on engineering documents and consolidate comments related to telecom deliverables; liaise with other engineering specialists and entities (Operations, HSE, etc.) as required
  • Ensure that the engineering activities related to telecom matters are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, FPSO Key Technical Requirements, with the required level of quality, high HSE standards, within the agreed time schedule and cost
  • Prepare deviation requests to FPSO Key Technical Requirements, follow up with TotalEnergies Head Office experts to ensure timely responses
  • Promptly respond to engineering clarifications, requests for deviations, and unexpected technical issues, with a proactive and proficient approach
  • Conduct studies leading to technical decision-making and issue recommendations to Project Management
  • Liaise with Head Office to obtain expertise when required in specific telecom subjects
  • Liaise with Affiliates when required
  • Assist in Procurement activities
  • Assist Commissioning and Operations in the preparation of their activities
  • Support in the preparation and participate in Project technical reviews, provide answers and ensure timely implementation of the findings in its discipline
  • Ensure proper reporting activities, highlighting critical issues to the Engineering Manager and proposing remedial actions

Deliverables: The service holder shall manage the supervision and coordination of the activities related to telecom engineering carried out by the EPSCC contractor, focusing on the successful and timely execution of the project Technical Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Telecom Engineering activities in Oil & Gas projects
• Rigorous and solution-oriented expertise to task completion
• Organizational, communication, leadership, and transverse coordination expertise for task completion
• Languages of the service: English mandatory, French is a plus
