About the Faculty of Medical Sciences

The Medical & Paramedical Cluster’s mission is to create a health ecosystem combining academic activities, scientific research, and care through the Smart Health Care City project of Benguerir.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences (UM6P-FMS) endeavors to build high-level medical and paramedical study programs, aiming to train polyvalent doctors, pharmacists, and nurses in a scientific research environment of excellence, in partnership with international universities and leading pharmaceutical groups.

The Faculty seeks to respond to current and future changes in medical practices through the Medicine and Polyvalent Nursing streams, and to develop Biotechnology through the Pharmaceutical stream.

Job Description

The candidate will be required to:

• Prescribe and manage surgical treatment plans for patients, from diagnosis to postoperative care and rehabilitation.
• Perform surgeries and manage patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Monitor the evolution of patient recovery and adjust therapeutic plans as needed.
• Perform administrative functions related to patient care.
• Teach modules related to his/her field of expertise.
• Supervise doctoral students and trainees through the UM6P Doctorate programs.
• Participate in training activities, monitoring, and supervising clinical internships for students in the Medical Sciences at UM6P.
• Lead and participate in scientific research projects in the field of medical sciences.

Candidate Criteria

• Doctor of Medicine MD or MD/PhD
• At least three years of experience in the medical field.
• Ability and interest to lead projects and contribute to interdisciplinary research collaborations in medical sciences.
• Ability to deal with a challenging and evolving work environment, often under pressure.
• Contribution to the development of research funding proposals.
• Ability to engage professionally with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students across the university.
• Strong English and French communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Sense of responsibility and organization.
• Interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility.
