CMA Ships is experiencing strong growth in its fleet of vessels, with a large number of container ships under construction. These vessels are equipped with numerous innovative technologies, with the aim of optimising performance, meeting the needs of our seafarers/customers and achieving the Net Zero Carbon objective by 2050.
As part of this process, we are opening up several Fleet Superintendent positions in Le Havre. Your main role is to represent the shipowner on board ships and in ports. You will deal with specific situations by taking appropriate action to optimise ship management.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, your responsibilities are:
You have a chief/second engineer license, or a degree in naval engineering.
5-year experience at least as a seafarer and/or in a similar position.
Very fluent in spoken and written English and proficient with office and IT tools.
You have good knowledge of international shipping regulations. Expert knowledge in a technical field (hull, engines, etc.) is appreciated.
You are interested in decarbonisation topics related to the maritime industry.
Your rigour, responsiveness, and capacity for analysis and synthesis, combined with interpersonal skills, enables you to succeed in your missions.
The position involves frequent business trip (about 45 days/year).
