Description du poste

We’re the forever innovators. On a mission that goes beyond business. Securing digital ownership in a changing world. Unlocking true freedom. We’re revolutionaries.

Looking beyond today. Bridging excellence and pragmatism, with ambition and conviction, to push the limits of what’s possible. That’s what you’ll do here, in this playground of innovation. With leadership and trust, you’ll write the rules of new technology, and create products that redefine security in a digital age.

Founded in 2014, Ledger is the global platform for digital assets and Web3. Over 20% of the world’s crypto assets are secured through our Ledger Nanos. Headquartered in Paris and Vierzon, with offices in UK, US, Switzerland and Singapore, Ledger has a team of more than 500 professionals developing a variety of products and services to enable individuals and companies to securely buy, store, swap, grow and manage crypto assets – including the Ledger hardware wallets line with more than 6 millions units already sold in 200 countries.

In the embedded software organization, reporting directly to the CTO, the Firmware Application team develops and manages embedded applications for Ledger's hardware wallets. These apps run on our custom OS, created by another team in the same organization.

Our team also empowers external developers to build their own apps by providing tools, SDKs, and a seamless integration process to make these apps accessible to all Ledger users via Ledger Live.

What You'll Be Part of:

  • A dynamic team of 8 engineers working on C/Rust embedded apps like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Starknet, and more.
  • Building and maintaining SDKs, emulators, test frameworks, and developer tools to ensure a top-tier development experience.
  • Managing and deploying 150+ open-source apps through robust CI pipelines.
  • Supporting the global community of developers contributing to Ledger's open-source ecosystem.
  • Most of our tools and apps are open-source—check them out here: LedgerHQ GitHub.

If you're excited about embedded systems, open-source development, and building tools that shape the future of crypto, we’d love to have you on board!

Your mission

  • Assess & Migrate Pipelines: Review Jenkins configurations and migrate dependencies, scripts, and plugins to GitHub Actions.
  • Adjust Environment & Integrations: Ensure SDKs, libraries, and integrations work smoothly on GitHub Actions, and secure sensitive data with GitHub Secrets.
  • Test & Refactor: Refactor workflows to build applications on specific SDK versions and set up reporting to internal channels.

What we're looking for

  • Knowledge of Debian-based environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems and Git
  • Proficiency in Bash and Python (scripting and object-oriented programming)
  • Knowledge of C and build systems (e.g., Makefile) is a plus
  • Very good command of English & French

What's in it for you?

  • Flexibility: Partial remote work possible
  • Social: Frequent social events, snacks and drinks
  • Transport: Ledger reimburses part of your preferred means of transportation
  • Lunch vouchers with Swile
  • Vacation: 1 day off for every full month of work, in addition to national holidays

We are an equal opportunity employer for all without any distinction of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, social status, disability or age.
