Filips Wine is a leading Fine Wine merchant with over 20 years of experience in sourcing and distributing some of the world’s most prestigious wines. We work closely with top producers across France and Europe, supplying high-end collectors, retailers, and distributors worldwide.
As part of our growth strategy, we are actively looking to develop our presence in Latin America. To support this expansion, we are seeking a motivated Sales & Business Development Intern to focus exclusively on prospecting and securing new clients across South America, Spain and Portugal.
Role & Responsibilities
Market Research & Client Prospection – Identify potential buyers, importers, distributors, and high-end retailers in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
Lead Generation & Outreach – Contact prospects via email, calls, and LinkedIn to introduce Filips Wine’s portfolio.
Sales Support – Assist in managing initial inquiries, follow-ups, and order processing.
Strategic Market Expansion – Help build a structured sales plan for key Spanish and Portuguese markets.
Database Management – Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations, and business opportunities.
Who We're Looking For
Fluent in Spanish & Portuguese (written & spoken).
Intermediate level of French required (B1/B2) for internal communication.
Passionate about wine, sales, and business development.
Strong communication & negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying opportunities.
Previous experience in sales, business development, or the wine industry is a plus.
