Job Description

You join the FDI Fencing Controls and Certification team on the FI, ALM & Financing perimeter, a team of 24 people located between Paris and Porto (7 FTE in Paris, 17 in Porto) responsible for the accounting certification of Natixis' valued exposures in the fixed income, buffer, treasury and financing business lines.

Your daily tasks are:

• Lead inventory reconciliation between back office and accounting;
• Carry out the reconciliation between the economic P&L (validated by the Risk division) and the accounting P&L on the market or financing perimeter;
• Justify the differences between the IFRS standards and the French accounting standards for the P&L and the balance sheet;
• Justify the uncompleted P&L accounts and all general ledger accounts;
• Justify internal operations.

We work with different FDI departments such as the Data Sourcing team in charge of weekly reconciliations, the DATR team responsible for accounting controls 1.2, project and data management teams, but also with the Statutory and Consolidated Accounting team, Permanent Financial Control (LoD2), the Standards team, back office teams and IT teams.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education in accounting, you have successful experience in the banking sector or in general accounting. Previous experience as an accountant and/or external auditor would be a plus.

You are proficient:

• Banking accounting;
• Database management;
• Ideally, the products and activities of a Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB);
• The usual office tools.

You have an excellent relationship, a very good listening ability, you are:

• Rigorous;
• Motivated by teamwork.

You are fluent in English with a B2 level.
