Financial Analyst

Job Overview:
The Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the company's financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, identifying trends, and delivering insights to enhance financial performance. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals align with broader business objectives.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial performance and prepare reports on trends, variances, and profitability.
2. Conduct cost and margin analysis, and perform scenario modeling.
3. Develop and maintain financial models to assess business opportunities and risks.
4. Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
5. Collaborate with department heads to gather data and address budget variances.
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
7. Present findings and recommendations to management and support board/investor presentations.
8. Ensure data accuracy by validating and reconciling financial data.
9. Use systems like SAP, Oracle, and Power BI for data extraction and analysis.
10. Support automation and reporting process improvements.
11. Conduct market research to support strategic planning and competitive analysis.
12. Provide insights and financial guidance for new projects and investment opportunities.
13. Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
14. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and accounting standards.
