Job Description : As part of our activities within the legal entities of Syngenta France we are looking for a :

Finance Statutory & Tax Manager (M / F)

Position offered as a Permanent Contract (CDI)

Location : SaintSauveur (31) France Site not accessible by public transport Start date : April 2025

Missions :

Participate in the implementation of the SAP4HANA project for Finance and other ongoing and future projects (redesign of intragroup flows electronic invoicing etc.). Provide support for statutory accounting and tax activities for the Syngenta France perimeter.

Main Responsibilities :

• SAP4HANA Project Management :
• Participate in the implementation of SAP4HANA
• Support the Finance team during the implementation of SAP4HANA
• Ensure a smooth transition from current SAP systems
• Financial Compliance and Reporting :
• Prepare accounting and financial documents in close collaboration with offshored teams and shared financial services
• Ensure compliance with local and Group rules meeting deadlines with transparency and reliability
• Statutory Tax Support and Projects :
• Participate in projects related to mergers and acquisitions electronic invoicing transfer pricing and other projects affecting the structure or organization of entities in France
• Provide support during audits (CSE tax authorities other external and internal audits)
• Assist in managing intragroup flows for the Field Crops Seeds business
• Internal Control and Process Management :
• Ensure compliance with internal control rules for the relevant areas
• Coordinate with internalized accounting teams to produce statutory accounts on time and in accordance with local accounting rules
• Oversee and improve financial processes impacting accounts including : cash management foreign exchange hedging fixed asset management inventory management supplier invoice processing factoring risk provisions and equity management
• Additional Responsibilities :
• Carry out any other activity delegated by the Finance Stat & Tax Director

This role involves responsibility for the entities within the assigned perimeter ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting process efficiency and compliance with internal and external regulations.

Qualifications :

Education and Skills :

• Masters degree (Bac 5) in Accounting or Finance; chartered accountant with over 10 years of experience in Management Finance Taxation or Audit
• Solid knowledge of IFRS standards statutory accounting and taxation
• Experience in international and multicultural environments and / or in international audit firms
• Proficiency in SAP advanced Excel BFC and Windows applications (Word PowerPoint)
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
• Ability to plan organize and motivate teams across borders
• Autonomy and strong aptitude for setting objectives and managing deadlines
• Excellence in process management and compliance within complex organizations
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to quickly build and maintain networks with key stakeholders
• Positive attitude towards change; proactive in offering and seeking constructive feedback
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a particular focus on accuracy and compliance
• Adaptability and efficiency in dynamic and fastpaced environments
