The Position

The Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) serves as a key business partner to the commercial organization. As a FEP you leverage your in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise to drive key initiatives which are critical to delivering our commercial strategy. You build strong networks across the local organization and leverage networks in the broader regional and divisional organization to share best practices and co-create solutions that generate value for patients and Roche. As FEP, you act as a trusted partner to business stakeholders and have close contact with customers, where you will ensure efficient resource allocation to maximize the impact along the customer journey.

Main Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Partnering with business teams and supporting or co-leading touchpoints alongside the customer journey with an entrepreneurial mindset.
2. Ensuring sustainable commercial deals by considering risk evaluation, competitor assumptions and implementing sustainable pricing strategies.
3. Balancing resource allocation across competing priorities and providing advice on financial implications of proposed business activities.
4. Acting as key partner in developing a coherent commercial affiliate strategy as well as related processes such as business planning, opportunity prioritization, performance tracking and developing creative strategies for revenue generation.
5. Stimulating behaviours across the organization that are aligned with the financial objectives.
6. Ensuring financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advising on deviations and corrective measures.
7. Providing strategic guidance on opportunities to drive profit margin improvements applying an E2E perspective of the P&L.
8. Participating in FEP communities to learn, share and implement best practices across markets.

Your profile

1. A degree in Finance and have at least 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or Controller, ideally in an internationally operating company.
2. An entrepreneurial, commercial and customer centric mindset which enables you to constantly challenge the status quo.
3. Holistic systems thinking approach which allows you to view challenges and opportunities from various different perspectives and break down silos by putting together different financial and operational information streams.
4. Enjoying working in a matrix organization and beyond geographical boundaries.
5. Strong analytical skills and data driven decision maker.
6. Fluency in English & in French (both written and spoken).
