Role Objectives:
The Finance Accounting Supervisor plays a critical and dynamic role in managing the comprehensive financial operations of the organization. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the supervisor oversees a detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive team that includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Storekeeping, Cost Control, and General Cashier functions. This role requires a results-driven, meticulous, and analytical individual who thrives in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
At least 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with a preference for candidates who have worked in hotel financial operations, especially in a five-star hotel environment.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creating complex spreadsheets, managing data, and performing financial analysis.
In-depth knowledge of hotel financial operations, including cost control, revenue management, and procurement processes.
Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax compliance, and auditing standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage teams and collaborate across departments.
Meticulous in handling financial data and ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
High ethical standards, with the ability to manage confidential data.
Willingness to be based in Bali.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Storekeeping, Cost Control, and General Cashier teams.
Ensure the teams’ daily operations run smoothly and efficiently, maintaining compliance with hotel financial standards and regulations.
Provide continuous guidance and training to team members, ensuring their development and improving operational performance.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Conduct variance analysis to detect and address discrepancies, ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Assist in the preparation of the hotel’s annual budget, ensuring that financial projections align with the company’s goals.
Provide recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize operational costs.
Develop and implement effective accounting procedures and internal controls to safeguard hotel assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Monitor compliance with local tax laws, financial regulations, and hotel policies to ensure the organization is legally and ethically sound.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and suggest process improvements to improve financial efficiency.
Collaborate with department heads to enhance cost control and ensure proper budget utilization.
Work closely with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, F&B) to provide financial insights that support decision-making and business strategies.
Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects or initiatives to support business growth.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and developing the finance team.
Ensure team members have the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles.
Implement and maintain relevant technology solutions to improve financial operations and enhance overall efficiency.
Stay updated on new financial tools and best practices for the hospitality industry.
