Expert Backend Engineer – Conversion – m / f / d

We are looking for an Expert Backend Engineer to join the Conversion team, whose objective is to optimise all the conversion journeys and ensure reliable funnel of subscription.

As part of a feature team, you will work along with iOS / Frontend / Backend / QA Engineers, but also Product Managers, Designers and many others, to deliver on challenging projects directly impacting the company’s objectives.

What you will do:

1. Design and build new features at scale, by collaborating with your teammates.
2. Master Conversion scope and industrialise solutions (e.g: offer management, Paywall optimizations).
3. Ensure that all written code and architecture is high quality, scalable, and performant.
4. Keep in touch with the latest evolutions related to the team's scope and Backend ecosystem (Microservices, Event Sourcing architecture, etc.).
5. Guide and assist Backend Engineers in expanding their technical expertise and promoting the adoption of stack standards within the team.

Qualifications

This role is excellent for a person with:

1. 5+ years of experience in building high-traffic applications using PHP.
2. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, and architecture in a Backend environment.
3. Experience in working on large and complex code bases at scale.
4. Proven experience in building and maintaining “mobile-first” products in production.
5. A mindset focused on code performance & quality.
6. Knowledge of GO, GraphQL, TypeScript is a big plus.
