Business Development Manager - Europe (B2B Supplements)

Location:Remote (Europe)

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will drive growth across Europe by developing new customer relationships and managing existing accounts. This role focuses on sellingnutraceutical ingredientsand exploring opportunities to expand into untapped markets. Account assignments and regions will depend on your experience and network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Account Management:Maintain and grow existing client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Execution:Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Insights:Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market needs to tailor sales strategies.
  • Negotiation:Lead contract negotiations and close deals effectively.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with internal teams (marketing, R&D, and logistics) to align on client needs.
  • Reporting:Provide regular sales activity updates and rolling forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Experience:B2B sales experience in nutraceutical ingredients
  • Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Skills:Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
  • Technology:Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Travel:Willing to travel to meet clients and visit industry tradeshows
  • Languages:Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
