We are seeking a European Regulatory Affairs Project Manager with extensive experience working on nutrition products in Europe to strengthen our Scientific and Regulatory Affairs team in the Business Unit Nutrition.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Strategy:
Develop regulatory strategies for market access of nutritional and health products.
Create strategies for advertising and labeling, ensuring compliance with EU guidelines.
Project Management:
Manage projects for the development of innovative products and ingredients.
Oversee marketing authorization requests, including Novel Food applications, New additives authorizations, Consultation processes, and New health claims applications.
Lead and manage project teams responsible for ensuring compliance with EU regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate product development activities with: CMOs, suppliers, laboratories, and regulatory authorities.
Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, sales, and other client departments.
Advise clients throughout the product lifecycle, from development to post-market surveillance, ensuring alignment with EU regulatory requirements and scientific/business objectives.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Identify and interpret relevant regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
Draft and maintain regulatory framework documents.
Experience
Degree in Human Nutrition, Food Science, Food Law, or a related field.
Proven expertise in EU food regulations, such as Regulation (EU) 609/2013 (FSG), Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 (nutrition and health claims), Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 (current Novel Foods), and Directive 2002/46/EC (food supplements).
Experience working with the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and ANSES (France) is highly desirable.
Proven ability to manage both simple and complex projects and teams, with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Skilled in managing client relationships and collaborating effectively with internal and external experts.
Fluency in French and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
