Job Title: Equipment Qualification Engineer (SA)

As Part of the QPTM team (Qualification Product and Technical Management), the Equipment Qualification Engineer (SA) will be responsible for implementing the qualification processes for components under the responsibility of the UD Product Qualification Manager in order to address the obsolescence issues of UD45, UD33, UD30 diesel engines.

What you will do:

  1. Develop and implement component qualification plans.
  2. Create and update the technical database regarding installations.
  3. Participate in the drafting and updating of supply specifications for engine parts and electromechanical auxiliaries, operating manuals, and special troubleshooting or modification procedures for installations.
  4. Participate in the safety analysis of UD engines.
  5. Ensure the compliance of UD products with nuclear standards and required specifications.
  6. Respond to technical questions from our external and internal clients.
  7. Collaborate with QTPM teams to integrate qualification requirements from the design stage.
  8. Participate in equipment qualification testing and inspections.
  9. Involvement in the internal process 'Tech Request' as well as 'Services Bulletins'.
  10. Master nuclear standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, KTA, RCC-M/E...).

Who you are:

  1. Engineering degree or equivalent (such as ENSP, ESTACA, ENSAM, IFP school).
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial design office.
  3. Mastery of qualification techniques and equipment testing.
  4. Technical knowledge of backup diesel engines in nuclear power plants is a plus.
  5. Good level of English.
  6. Knowledge of SAP.
  7. Rigor, analytical and synthesis skills.
