Dynamic Pricing emerges as a solution aiming to revolutionize pricing strategies in real-time. The Department
This position is available within the Data Engineering, Science, and Innovation department. Our mission is to equip Amadeus Offer organization with the best-in-class processes, practices and technological expertise in the Data and AI domain. We aim to establish ourselves as one of the driving forces behind the transformative initiatives by integrating seamless advanced cloud and big data technologies, our innovation process, and engineering best practices.
Your team and mission
We are looking for a talented people leader, passionate by the data challenges. As Manager of the Data Acquisition and Transformation team, you will be leading a team of Data Engineers:
- Responsible of the collection, cleansing, transformation and storage of data produced and consumed within Offer organization.
- Managing design and implementation of ETL processes within our modern data platform to power Offer products such as Dynamic Pricing Solutions, Revenue Management Solutions, NDC, Nevio and more.
- Ensuring adoption and implementation of data management practices within Offer organization, working closely with the data office entry points and other key actors of the data ecosystem.
- Responsible of maintenance and operational activities of our data assets with a DevOps mindset.
- Supporting customer activities such as customer presentations, customer support and incident handling.
- Being one of the greatest technical expertise, intellectual stimulation, and innovation sources in Offer organization.

- Lead and develop your team with a focus on fostering collaboration, trust, and a positive work environment.

- Promote ownership, best practices, and consistency across the organization.
- Drive engagement and results by setting personalized performance objectives, by conducting well-prepared performance reviews and by leading engagement initiatives.
- Lead technical and functional activities to get the most from the technology and our principal asset: data.
- Collaborate closely with other managers, SAFe leaders, product managers, and technical experts to support any initiative within the organization and in general SAFe ones (PIPE, IP Weeks, …).
- Serve as a role model for team members and encourage intellectual stimulation.
- Support development and adoption of modern data practices across the organization.
- Ensure timely and appropriate communication to the different actors involved in our activities.
Requirements
- A solid educational foundation with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or Ph.D.) are preferred.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms and managing large-scale data projects.
- Proactivity, autonomy, strong leadership skills and exceptional proficiency in English communication is required.
- Experience with SAFe or any other Agile framework.
- Relevant experience on data management, implementing data quality processes and BI is a plus.
- Previous experience as Engineering Manager is a plus.
