HYDE HOTEL DUBAI
Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences, part of the world-leading Accor group, opened the first Hyde hotel outside of the United States, Hyde Hotel Dubai, in close proximity to the iconic Burj Khalifa directly fronting the Business Bay canal and promenade. Hyde Hotel Dubai, a five-star hotel, opened their doors in Q4 2021. The 276-rooms, all with balconies, is a mix of gracious standard rooms and luxurious suites with views of the Dubai Canal, the Dubai skyline and the iconic Burj Khalifa – the tallest building in the world.

Hyde Hotel Dubai features three incredible culinary experiences including:

  1. The Mediterranean concept, Cleo Mediterráneo
  2. Contemporary Japanese from Katsuya
  3. Hand-crafted burgers from Hudson Tavern

Also on the property is The Perq, a coffee concept, a lobby lounge, and Hyde pool & lounge as well as a spa, male/female salon, fitness center, a swimming pool and retail area. The hotel’s public areas, guestrooms and Cleo were designed by Ciarmoli Queda Studio. Katsuya, Hudson Tavern, and Hyde pool and lounge were designed by Tristan Plessis Studio.

Job Description
Day-to-day secretarial work including:

  1. Typing, filing, telexes, faxes, telephone, etc.
  2. Ensures the distribution of documents, letters, telexes, faxes, memos, information, etc on a timely basis.
  3. Arranges internal and external appointments with internal customers, suppliers and third-party inspectors.
  4. Distributes incoming mails, documents, articles efficiently to the Engineering Management and to internal and external customers.
  5. Assists in the preparation of all report documents, example Energy, Utility consumptions.
  6. Maintain and file all equipment operation log sheets.
  7. Implement the Hotel's and company's store keeping policies and procedures as instructed by the department management to ensure the smooth operation of the stores is maintained at all times.
  8. Record on a daily, weekly and monthly basis all items of stock which have been signed out of the stores for use by the department and report any irregularities to the department’s management.
  9. Ensure a tracking system is implemented to monitor par stock levels and fast/slow moving items to enable the stores department to operate efficiently at all times.
  10. To ensure all log books, record sheets and diary of events are correctly completed and kept up to date.
  11. To ensure the quality of the product and material is of the best possible standard.
  12. Continuously search for new ideas and product improvements to ensure that our colleague demands are met.
  13. Monitor and report on progress of any plans or ideas implemented to reduce the department's wastage of resources.
  14. Constantly review the department’s performance and operations to stimulate ideas for reducing the department's costs.
  15. Monitor and make recommendations to the department’s management any alterations to par stock levels or improvements to the stores policies and procedures that will reduce operational costs and make the department more efficient.
  16. Encourages the highest possible standard of environmental management.

Qualifications
Secondary School + Technical College or equal.
2 years administrative assistant experience in the hospitality Industry and/or in an engineering environment.
