EMC ESD validation Technician / Technicien(ne) Laboratoire CEM

Context

The «Advanced Analog Automotive» department develops high performance analog solutions for automotive and industrial applications. The technical community (400 persons) based in Toulouse are creating innovating applications with high level of integration of analog mixed-signal and power electronic.

The EMC and ESD team (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility / ElectroStatic Discharge) designs, characterizes and integrates solutions to guarantee robustness and reliability of integrated circuits submitted to ElectroStatic and ElectroMagnetic aggressions.

NXP Toulouse site owns measurement laboratories to evaluate and optimize the performance of automotive embedded systems (sensors, driving assistance, battery management for electrical vehicle, supply circuits).

In this context, you will join the EMC/ ESD team in Toulouse as EMC lab technician to perform Immunity and Emission characterizations for both conducted and radiated standards.

Missions

As lab technician in EMC, you will:

1. Perform EMC testing campaigns on sensor and automotive integrated circuits,
2. Set up EMC testing bench, follow calibration of critical equipments,
3. Work together with EMC lab engineers to build EMC setup of the tests,
4. Follow standards, integrated circuit requirement and EMC test plan,
5. Write Technical EMC reports,
6. Participate with the project team to the investigation and solutions to improve performance of products.

Your Profile

1. Technician degree in electronic engineering, or equivalent,
2. At least 2-10 years of experience in a similar position – preferable, but not a blocker,
3. Experience on EMC measurements or in RF is required
4. Familiar with measurement equipment: scope, RF generator, EMI receiver, Spectrum analyser, …
5. Knowledge in Labview and board-design tools (schematics + layout) is an advantage,
6. Good level in English (Tests reports are written in English)
7. Rigorous and detail oriented,
8. Team player
9. Good communication in multicultural environment
10. Highly motivated
