Regional Sales Director – France (First on the Ground)

Overview :

Intaso are supporting a fast-growing, venture-backed cyber security who focus on application security. We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Director to lead and build out the French market. This is a first-on-the-ground role, offering the opportunity to drive strategic growth in a high-priority region and play a pivotal part in the company’s expansion across EMEA.

Our client is a category leader in application security, delivering innovative solutions that help development teams secure software more efficiently and effectively. Their technology is trusted by leading enterprises globally and is designed to integrate seamlessly into modern DevOps and cloud-native environments.

With strong backing and rapid international growth, they are now looking for a senior sales professional to spearhead market development in France.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for France, aligning with EMEA leadership.
  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise clients.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline through direct prospecting, strategic marketing initiatives, and partner collaboration.
  • Navigate complex sales cycles involving technical and business stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at key industry events and act as a regional evangelist for their solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer success and provide local market insights.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • 7+ years cyber security sales
  • Demonstrable track record of success in a hunter sales role, preferably within a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern cloud architectures is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
