Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly technical and business development Senior Solution Manager (IoT and EDGE) with proven successful records in either the IoT or AI at the EDGE industries. The ideal candidate will understand customer needs and provide well-thought-out solutions to meet specifications and deliver outstanding service. Responsibilities include understanding market trends for solution needs, serving as the escalation point for the global service team, managing roadmaps, and collaborating with internal teams and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Focus primarily on Business Development and presales, propose, identify and qualify projects.
• Build partnerships with software vendors across various verticals.
• Participate in trade shows and exhibitions to find new leads, partners, and increase Supermicro's market awareness.
• Present training material to internal sales force and externally at customer sites.
• Work with sales, FAE, and product teams to propose AI, EDGE & IoT or Telecom (ORAN) solutions to influence and win accounts.
• Support product definition in terms of product management and development.
• Communicate with eco partners to align the solution offering.
• Demonstrate strong project management skills and work cross-functionally with product management and field teams.
• Build and maintain a network of business relationships, including executive management of clients, prospects, and other referral resources.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's (or above) degree preferably in Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in the IT industry / IoT / Telco solutions preferred.
• Proven business development experience in EDGE computing.
• Understanding of the evolution of Telecom networks as well as EDGE, AI, and IoT with a move to Smart Infrastructure (Retail, Industry, Smart Cities, Smart Healthcare, Smart Agriculture) market, requirements, and technologies.
• Knowledgeable in server system architecture, chassis, x86 architecture, hardware, and applications.
• Proven experience in product management and end-to-end solutions (IoT / 5G).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
• Solid English communication skills in both verbal and written forms, able to communicate effectively with high-level (preferably C-level executive) clients.
• Local language proficiency at a proficient level.
• Willingness to travel within Europe / globally as required.
