We’re looking for a smart, motivated, and experienced Executive Assistant to support the Head of APPLE TV+ in France. The ideal candidate is focused and willing to actively work behind the scenes to ensure that our leaders and the team are functioning efficiently. This includes being organized, professional, and flexible in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking, and attention to detail are equally meaningful in this role. Knowledge and interest about the French media industry, the development and production of high-end series or movies is a huge plus. We offer the opportunity to become part of a small team that develops and produces French APPLE TV+ Originals out of France for a worldwide audience according to the highest quality standards in film production.

Description

Anticipate needs and provide high-level, tailored administrative support to the Head of Apple TV+ France and the small number of Senior Commissioning Executives across the French APPLE TV+ Commissioning team. Flawless execution of administrative activities, with a high attention to detail, organization, and process. Complex diary management - arranging video conferencing, conference calls, internal and external meetings. Managing meetings across multiple time zones with the flexibility to accommodate changes to schedules and logistics at short notice. Archive and organize incoming project submissions, scripts, and all project-related materials. Be a Go-To Person for external partners, production companies, producers, or agencies. Maintain great relations with the German, UK, and US team, at times anticipating lags in communications due to the timezones and “seeing round corners.” Coordinate and organize complex business travels and itineraries. Initiate purchase orders and complete expense reports. Managing the back office of the France APPLE TV+ Team. Collaborate daily with executives, internal stakeholders, other lines of business, and other Executive Assistants across the company both locally and internationally. Help plan and execute internal and external events, in some instances being front of house to On Screen Talent. Interest in project managing other key initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience (or equivalent) required. If you have experience working within the media or broadcast industry, this is a big plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (in French and at least fluent in English).
  • Outstanding calendar and meeting management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Used to working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines and last-minute changes.
  • Knowledge about the French media industry, production companies, other broadcasters, or streamers is an absolute plus.
  • Interest and experience identifying and implementing processes and procedures to improve work efficiency and productivity, especially in the field of project submissions.
  • Interest and experience in script development and being part of a development department would be an absolute plus.
  • Confidentiality, discretion, trust, and judgement.
  • Able to act as a gatekeeper while retaining goodwill.
  • A “can do” attitude and solving problems before they occur.
  • Working for an international company across multiple timezones preferred.
  • Mac and iPhone literate.
  • Highly motivated and a valuable member of a small, friendly, very collegial and nice team.
  • Finally, you have to care about what we do. Because we really do.
  • Creative acumen.
  • Previous knowledge of reading scripts.
  • Interest and knowledge of the local audiovisual market.
