Short Intro and About the Job The Global Commercial Sustainability Director is responsible for defining the strategy to achieve joint value creation with our customers, grounded in our Danone Impact Journey and local/global category sustainability ambitions. This individual will lead the development of commercially-oriented sustainability capability for the sales organization worldwide, and ensure that Danone’s sustainability strengths and ambition are embedded in customer-facing category visions.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
Translate the Danone Impact Journey and supporting global category initiatives into customer-facing One Danone category vision that will connect to customers’ sustainability (including well-being) priorities.
Working with the global commercial category directors, help to embed commercially-viable and customer-relevant sustainability initiatives into global category strategies.
Identify & support sell-in & implementation of scalable sustainability initiatives that will enable joint value creation with our customers, ensuring alignment with Danone’s sustainability goals & customer objectives.
Lead the upskilling of the global sales organization on the relevant level of sustainability expertise, empowering sales teams to engage with customers on sustainability opportunities in close collaboration with cross-functional internal experts.
Engage a community of cross-functional stakeholders who share an ambition of creating joint value with customers based on common sustainability objectives, including cross-market sharing of best practices and alignment on globally scalable opportunities.
Provide expert guidance and support to the (global, regional & local) sales teams, fostering a culture of excellence and customer-centricity.

External: Chief Sustainability Officers of FMCG companies Consumers Goods Forum (CGF) Select customers where global support is requested
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE: Education: Master degree Experience (in years): Solid (15/20 years) Sales experience in addition to Marketing and/or PAC and/or Ops in a Sustainability capacity. Demonstrated expertise and deep knowledge of sustainability landscape and business implications.
