Job Summary

Our hosts and hostesses create the first and last impression on a guest. Host/Hostesses must be friendly and professional at all times and give the guest a genuine appreciation for having come to our restaurant. They are responsible for accurately ringing transactions, checking student I.D. cards and/or taking cash from paying guests in a friendly, helpful and responsible manner. Most importantly they must always remember to say hello and goodbye!

Essential Functions

1. Welcome the guest.
2. Answer the phone.
3. Use the “no wait” program & establish wait times.
4. Seat guests as outlined.
5. Open doors & pull out chairs for guests.
6. Learn the menu & daily specials.
7. Restock and keep clean and organized the areas surrounding the podium.
8. Ring up all to-go and walk-up orders.
9. Understand our large party policy.
10. Complete Chef/Manager requested tasks.
11. Stand and/or walk - 100% of the time.
