EDI Business Analyst

YOUR ROLE

As an EDI Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing all the EDI related requirements in the shipping domain and effectively on-boarding/maintaining CMA CGM EDI Partners via EDI channel.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Collect EDI requirements from business and advise them during the requirement phase.
2. Provide expertise during the scoping phase, review and validate EDI specifications.
3. Work with stakeholders (Internal teams and IT providers) and drive EDI partner boarding and enhancements, closely monitor the progress.
4. Configure/setup EDI partner profiles and occasional developments when needed.
5. Timely status updates on on-boarding/enhancement progress to the business team.
6. Participate in the testing phase and assist business during user acceptance tests.
7. Take the lead on critical incidents and coordinate the investigations.
8. Monitor the performance of the system and lead action plans when improvements are needed.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: 7+ years working experience in EDI mapping using EDIFACT/ANSI X12 standards, preferably within the shipping or logistics industry.
3. Shipping Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of shipping operations and EDI processes.
4. Strong knowledge in developing and deploying EDI mappings using tools like IBM WebSphere Transformation and setting up EDI.
5. Solid experience in the shipping and EDI field.
6. Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
7. Ability to take initiatives and work autonomously.
8. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent ability to understand business requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
10. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
