As Qantev is scaling its team and operations worldwide, we are looking for our first Senior Information Security Officer to develop and maintain our security programs and align them with our strategic business objectives.

Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will be responsible for developing and implementing security strategies to protect our data and systems from cyber threats, as well as ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements.

With the opportunity to build and grow the function, this would be a great fit for a seasoned and ambitious professional with a strong background in information security and a deep understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and implement an information security strategy aligning with Qantev's business objectives.
2. Identify and assess security risks within the organization in real time and implement security measures to mitigate risks.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to data security and privacy.
4. Educate staff in the organization on the best IT practices and regulatory requirements.
5. Work closely with other high-level executives to develop all-encompassing security strategies.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and best practices, and adapt the company's security strategy accordingly.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields.
2. 5 years of successful experience in IT security or risk management ideally in a fast-growing environment.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills: you have the ability to tailor your communication and to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
4. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and new opportunities.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent project management and leadership skills.
7. Flawless fluency in English - any additional language would be a plus.
