We are looking for a Director of Merchandising Projects and Operations F/M to join our Group Merchandising team based in Marly (59), France. We are seeking a motivated, dynamic and optimistic teammate, ready to take on new challenges!

YOUR MISSIONS:

Elaboration, Development, and Implementation of Product Management Ecosystem:

  • Help designing a comprehensive and robust data model to effectively manage product data and content.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and specifications for the ecosystem.
  • Leading the teams working on development and implementation of streamlined processes and essential features within the ecosystem.
  • Ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and industry best practices throughout the elaboration, development, and implementation phases.

Operational Excellence and Workflow Optimisation:

  • Driving operational excellence by continuously improving processes and workflows related to product data and content management.
  • Identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks within existing workflows and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimise resource allocation and maximise operational effectiveness.
  • Monitoring KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Conducting country visits as needed to gather insights, address localised requirements, and ensure alignment with regional strategies and regulations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Providing leadership and direction to the product data and content operations teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing daily support and guidance to team members, addressing challenges and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Developing and implementing training programs to enhance team members' skills and capabilities in data management, content creation, and technology utilization.
  • Conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and providing feedback and coaching to support professional growth and development.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:

  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align product data and content needs with broader business objectives.
  • Serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners/vendors to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster trust, collaboration, and successful outcomes.

YOUR PROFILE :

  • Master Degree in business, project management, data management or marketing
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in managing projects
  • Strong experience with Product Data and Content management processes and teams
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in team leadership/transversal management
  • Proven track record of delivering projects
  • Experience in coaching and educating project teams and end users
  • Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Solid proven successful track record and experience working in complex, cross-functional, international business settings
  • Proven success in management of large, multicultural teams
  • Ability to build quickly working relations with all levels of employees across locations, face-to-face and virtual
