GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

The role of the Business Systems Analyst is to provide technical support for our enterprise systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Functional and Technical Skills

1. Daily system support and issue management of the ERP (IFS) and other enterprise systems working with team members and business users.
2. Design and document technical system solutions, challenges, and advise business teams, ensuring success for all parties.
3. Develop configuration knowledge and technical skills to leverage configuration features to limit custom code.
4. Utilize basic PL/SQL skills to perform system analysis to resolve simple to medium complexity support issues.
5. Develop and maintain IT documentation for implemented configurations and processes.
6. Participate in ERP upgrades and implementations by coordinating testing and training with business users; configuring the system as required and performing regression testing.
7. Record detailed notes on processes and tasks to support testing and training documentation.

Customer Interaction/Management/Support

1. Understand and assist the business to define and document business requirements and provide guidance in the most effective usage of technology solutions and standard business processes.
2. Conduct end-user testing and training.
