Part of a major international group, our site (workforce: 135, turnover: €45 million) has been based in Haut-Rhin (Alsace) since 1974 and produces packaging solutions on a global scale.

To strengthen the existing team, we are looking for a : OHSE ENGINEER M/F

Reporting to the OHSE Manager, you will be responsible for :
- updating documentation on safety and environmental risk analyses (including the Single Document), prioritising risks and setting up and monitoring improvement programmes
- promoting safety in the field with staff (monitoring the safety champion, focusing on hand protection, observing behaviour, analysing risks during maintenance or other work, etc.)
- analysing dangerous situations, near misses, first aid and accidents in the workplace, using various analysis tools (5M, cause tree, etc.) and implementing corrective action and follow-up using the PDCA method, including training and awareness-raising for the staff concerned.
You will have to strictly respect and promote safety, quality and environmental instructions, as well as Amcor's values charter.

You will be autonomous, rigorous, exemplary and have good interpersonal skills.

Working close to the OHSE Manager, you will prepare reports for the group and take part in global meetings.

Initial education : BAC +4 / BAC +5 Technical with a focus on Safety/Environment and at least 5 years' experience. Fluent English required.

This is a daytime position, Cadre status (218-day worked per year) (+ 12 days RTT), in an industrial environment.
