This role is responsible for achieving sales, sales growth and profitability targets in the territory. The account manager will be responsible for managing a number of important accounts in the territory. You are expected to identify the growth opportunities as well as the risks associated within the assigned accounts. You will be expected to build robust account plans to grow and increase profitability. The role maintains frequent face-to-face communication and establishes win-win relationships with existing accounts. Your customers will be based in France. This role requires up to 40% traveling.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Develop account strategies for existing accounts
  2. Identify needs and key buying factors beyond price
  3. Assess opportunities, trends and define aspirations
  4. Develop close relationships with decision makers
  5. Be the conduit to develop multi-functional relationships between Amcor and accounts
  6. Develop and maintain an account plan for each core account
  7. Maximise sales, sales growth and profitability of accounts in the territory
  8. Establish & maintain strong relationships and face-to-face communication with accounts.
  9. Act as the direct, primary face-to-face contact with existing accounts
  10. Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with identified accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  1. At least 3 years of sales experience in sales (account management)
  2. Proven experience in packaging ideally within food market
  3. Graduate in Business Administration, Engineering or similar
  4. Experience of working in fast-paced, international environment
  5. Fluent French and English required
  6. Knowledge of the packaging business
  7. CRM Systems, salesforce.com is a plus
  8. Microsoft Pack (Excel, PowerPoint)
  9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  10. Strong analytical skills and background
  11. Self-starter
  12. Results oriented
  13. Strong ability to get things done
