Position : Finishing Assistant
Location : Toronto, ON (On-Site)
Hours of Operation : 3:00pm – 11:00pm EST
Pay Range : $25.00 - $28.00 CAD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY : The Assistant Editor (Picture Finishing) will be responsible for filling a variety of supporting roles to the colourist / editor. They will assist in the completion of TV / Feature projects from ingest to delivery, learning new processes and maintaining proficiency with evolving technical applications and trends.
MAIN DUTIES :
WHAT YOU BRING : The ideal candidate will have prior working experience in the media/post-production industry, as well as hands-on operator experience. Excellent organizational skills, an exceptional eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, good communication and interpersonal skills are essential. A professional level of English language skills (written and verbal) is required.
Additional desired skills include a solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity with Adobe Premiere, OSD/Transkoder, and Avid.
