Leading packaging manufacturer serving a range of sectors such as FMCG, food and drinks, HORECA, Agriculture, Industrial manufacturing, Logistics, Medical.

Responsibilities

Main duties:

  1. To cover existing key accounts and new business in the France and Benelux regions.
  2. Identify and generate leads that are potential users of packaging products.
  3. Communicate and follow up with the factories for prices, testing, and agreeing on margins.
  4. Drive the sales lead conversion process into prospects and potential customers.
  5. Liaise and coordinate with the sales team to guarantee continuous sales support.
  6. Coordinate with product managers of the factories for customer visits when required.
  7. Collect and process purchase orders, following up with customer services for updates.
  8. Visit customers frequently in person and maintain follow-up on potential customers.
  9. Analyse data related to the targeted products and recommend pricing strategies.
  10. Set sales forecasts and annual budgets in coordination with the senior sales managers.
  11. Follow up on unmet sales forecasts in coordination with the senior sales managers.
  12. Draft a marketing expansion plan and achieve the plan by the number of forecasted prospects.
  13. Conduct competition studies, update and analyse the competitors’ profiles and offerings.
  14. Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication.
  15. Seek new ideas and remain updated on the latest trends, technologies, and processes.

Candidate's Profile

  1. Fluent in English and French to business level (written and spoken). Additional European languages such as Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian are advantageous.
  2. Experience in the sales of flexible packaging products for the Food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and Hygiene sectors.
  3. Self-driven, with self-initiative, and responsible for growing the sales of packaging products in the region.
  4. Team player, dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to changes are key elements for success.
  5. Based remotely in France with extensive travel in France and Benelux regions.
