Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled IT Senior Architect to join our team and play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions. In this position, you’ll work closely with stakeholders, IT teams, and security specialists, contributing directly to infrastructure modernization projects, cloud migrations, and technology optimizations. What You’ll Do :
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid).
- Develop and document architectural standards, best practices, and blueprints for infrastructure components.
- Ensure solutions align with business goals, compliance requirements, and technology strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather infrastructure requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead infrastructure modernization projects, including cloud migrations, data center transformations, and automation initiatives.
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects from conception to deployment.
- Analyze existing infrastructure and recommend improvements for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and provide recommendations for integration where beneficial.
- Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments.
- Security & Compliance:
- Design infrastructure that adheres to security best practices and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the security team to mitigate risks and address vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, ITAR, …).
- Operational Support:
- Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
- Provide guidance to IT teams on troubleshooting and performance optimization.
- Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Work closely with development, network, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and efficient system integration.
- Present architectural solutions and roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Need :
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure design and architecture.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in networking concepts (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs).
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
- Familiarity with storage, backup, and disaster recovery technologies.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
