THE ROLE
Ultimately responsible for the performance of CMA CGM Strategic Customers. You will have to manage the relationship with the customer, ensure the delivery of performance and service level and build a growth strategy across all CMA CGM brands, regions and trades.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Building a growth strategy via an account plan for each customer within the portfolio, identifying the commercial opportunities and developping new business for the Group.
- Create a strong relationship with the decision-makers within the customers’ organisation, which will enable you to ensure the growth development of all CMA CGM group services and products.
- As a manager, you support your inside sales in his/her missions. You are ultimately responsible for their performance, engagement, motivation, and learning curve.
- You are responsible for tender management and you have to negotiate commercial agreement with the customers in coordination with product owners (Lines, VAS, Reefer team etc.)
- Reach and exceed targets for all commercial KPIs in volume, revenues and customer interactions, using Group tools to give visibility to management.
- Coordinate with all internal stakeholders (legal, lines, customers care, agencies…) to secure the interest of the customer.
- Monitor industry transformation and evolution to detect new business opportunities and share with Management any new services/investments needed to offer solutions to our customers.
PROFILE AND QUALIFICATIONS
You have a postgraduate degree (4/ 5 years) in International Trade and a 5-years experience in Sales and shipping activities.
Perfectly fluent in English, both written and spoken, you have strong interpersonal skills. You are well-versed in business negotiations and have good communication skills in IT and Office tools (especially in advanced Excel).
