Job Description

Line plan & merchandising planning

As the Footwear EVR Merchandising Manager (6 months fixed term contract), you will be responsible for defining and driving the seasonal merchandising strategy for Performance Footwear, aligned with the business division vision, positioning, strategy and targets.

Define & execute the overall merchandising strategy, from market input, early product creation stage in order to deliver the right business package, based on merchandising sufficiency & business target:

  • Identify opportunities and risk in consumer purchases, channel and market evolution with solutions on impact of product range.
  • Co-define the brief of 24 month and seasonal line plan (focus on sufficiency, flow, lifecycle, and price) with product line managers, based on the category strategy & product sufficiency analysis by channel.
  • Through I2P gates and commercial process, define thoughtful & build compelling seasonal channel right assortments for wholesale with omni-channel approach to address Brand consumer targets by region with the right level of activation & experience.
  • Develop plug & play merchandising assortment tools for sales organizations.
  • Drive omni channel merchandising toolbox with exclusive programs, product prelaunch and specific rid (retail intro date).
  • Allocate Specific product offer for regional/local accounts & brief the product answer to allow to develop the business.

Global & strategic account merchandising leader

  • Be the global merchandising leader for the category to pilot and coordinate merchandising strategy and execution.
  • Be part of sell in process: support the long term business plan with premium partners.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial or Merchandising position in order to navigate, communicate and influence within the business and with external partners.
  • Agility, you are not afraid of change.
  • An analytical mindset in order to assess and drive performance.

  • Collaboration: You have the ability to work with peers and partners to drive results & improve performance. You volunteer to help and bring ideas to benefit colleagues, sharing best practices across business units or functions.

Desired Qualifications

  • Languages: English fluency.
  • IT: Microsoft suite including advanced Excel, PowerPoint.
