Axis has something great to offer! We are looking for a Key Account Manager based in the Strasbourg area, who will manage the East Territory in France. This is a remote position with business trips.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A KAM?

This person will play a pivotal role in developing Axis's success within this geographical area. As a Key Account Manager, you will be the leader of this territory, to be grown with your colleagues. It will be your responsibility to develop major partners, build long-term business plans embraced by great relationships. Therefore, you will be monitoring current and potential high-revenue partners precisely with great patience, creating and winning projects that encourage our pipeline of opportunities and develop our success in this area.

Besides focusing on the channel of partners, you will also be monitoring and working with local end-customers, successively and proactively identifying opportunities that could be developed through the Axis Partners ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the territory with new and existing key accounts, being responsible for reaching sales targets
  • Developing clear business plans for the selected accounts
  • Setting annual targets on each account and continuously following up KPIs on them
  • Acting as a project leader between Partner, End Customers, and Axis to find solutions meeting EC needs in the best way and ensuring won deals
  • Analyzing won and lost deals to understand reasons
  • Running sales trainings and academies together with Sales Engineer
  • Working closely with the partner to develop the project pipeline and close projects
  • Ensuring partners have the necessary product portfolio to sell Axis solutions (including software, cabling, networking, and storage)
  • Making end-user visits together with the partner
  • Working with marketing activities together with the partners to attract new end-user opportunities
  • Actively participating in trade shows, seminars, and other promotional sales activities
  • Preparing sales reports with new and existing projects.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This person has a strong proven track record in sales with a strong business acumen, as well as a big interest or knowledge in technology. Besides this, we are looking for a well-established person that loves to build relationships and is inspired by success with value-based sales and partnership. We believe you have an ability to closely monitor the market, show patience, and understand complex situations.

We’d love to hear from you if you have/are:

  • 5+/Extensive sales experience with a proven track record selling through channels
  • Developed sales skills and good knowledge of the consultative sales approach
  • Confident presenter and negotiator
  • Demonstrated interest and/or understanding of networking, computer hardware, or software equipment
  • Pro-active and result-driven
  • Able to manage time and prioritize
  • Balanced combination of consulting attitudes and dynamic sales mentality
  • Team player with a positive spirit, ambitious, open, and inquisitive attitude
  • Advanced user of MS Office and Salesforce
  • Fluent in French and English (written and verbal)
