Our mission is to ensure the accuracy of the manufacturing accounting across the division.

The manufacturing accounting is a key activity. Properly used, it can significantly increase the benefits of a business as well as bring it into compliance with the applicable accounting standards. Key words in the area are inventory, production, and cost of goods sold, variance analysis, and profit analysis. Those elements are common and essential to many businesses which makes our activity a must-know. It is an excellent springboard for moving towards other Finance roles also.

World Class Performance is our objective and we are offering a six months internship to help us to continuously improve some key activities and data of the division. The mission offers great visibility to the whole Finance community.

In detail, you will work with two teams:

Manufacturing Accounting

• Collect and process the data used to elaborate the monthly reporting of the key performance indicators (standing data, product costing, accounting, work orders,…);
• Analyse the root causes of the integrity issues found during the previous step.
• Suggest different strategies to tackle with the issues and reinforce and promote the best practices.
• Work out specific tools to help to sort out failures (procedures, development, training of users in plants,…);
• Suggest new indicators to increase central monitoring.

And Master Data team:

• Bank updates: creation of BU workflow request from central team and follow up;
• Processing of bank creation;
• Update Suppliers on hold;
• Robot unblocked accounts: Follow up on creations done by RPA (Robotic Process Automation).

Ideal profile:

• Rigorous, analysis skills, autonomous, curious and keen to learn quickly are key qualities for the job.
• Nearly completed studies in Accountancy or Finance or Audit (4 / 5 years).
• Comprehensive proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is essential. Knowledge of ERP is a plus.
• Fluent French and English required. Other languages are advantageous.
