As a Business Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the launch of a small business in fashion. You will work closely with the owner of the business and assist with various tasks that contribute to the successful establishment of the brand in the market. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and has a passion for fashion and business.

Location: Remote with occasional travel

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the development and execution of the business plan for the business in the fashion industry, including market research, competitive analysis, and pricing strategy.
  2. Support the marketing team in creating promotional materials, social media content, and other marketing collateral to launch the new product line.
  3. Help coordinate and manage timelines for product development, manufacturing, and distribution to ensure timely launch.
  4. Assist in the organization of events, pop-up shops, and product launches, including logistics, vendor communications, and on-site support.
  5. Conduct research on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
  7. Support administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing documentation.
  8. Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure product quality and alignment with brand standards.
  9. Assist in customer service initiatives, including responding to inquiries and feedback via various channels.

Qualifications:

  1. Advanced level of proficiency in verbal/written English, plus native level of Russian is a must-have.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
  3. Experience in business development, marketing, or a similar role; experience in the fashion or apparel industry is a plus.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana).
  7. A proactive, problem-solving attitude with a willingness to take initiative and learn.
  8. Passion for fashion and understanding of current trends in the market.
