V&V designer - project Mainlines trackside

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled V&V designer to join our V&V Mainlines Trackside group. In this position, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the demonstration of the quality of the delivery to final customers, with a complementary focus on robustness versus cybersecurity needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform Verification and Validation activities, as defined in the V&V plan.
2. Define and perform review activities on design documents and project deliverables, writing the Verification report.
3. Define Test Plans and Test Descriptions.
4. Support the update of the RVT for requirements allocated to V&V for testing.
5. Perform Test Campaigns, analyze and validate the results, and write the test reports.
6. Manage the deployment of the configuration under test in labs (in Alstom and customer premises), requiring specific expertise on the new technology at the base of latest Alstom products.
7. Lead the definition and execution of tests covering cybersecurity requirements.

Profile:

Engineering degree, experience of 3+ years, significant testing experience, preferably on industrial systems having reliability or safety constraints. Previous experience in similar projects is a plus.

Ability to synthesize, organize, and argue.

Linguistic capabilities: French and English.
