Job Description

Position Scope:

As a Revenue Manager of the Pullman Cap town hotel you are responsible to achieve the optimal mix of rooms and conference sales revenues to achieve budget RevPAR targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maximize Revenue Incomes for Individual, Group and Conference business
  2. Implement weekly RevPro meetings with a directive on Revenue Strategies. Discuss Sales Strategies with DoS and GM
  3. Maintain and manage all Reservation Channels, ensuring RIL rate integrity policies
  4. Analyse Market Conditions and Trends
  5. Analyse Business Opportunities
  6. Develop, execute and review an optimal revenue strategy
  7. Provide Education and training to Front Office, Reservation, and Sales
  8. Active role in Forecast and Budget creation and Sales and Marketing Plan
  9. Create a team-working environment promoting morale and commitment, pride, and performance in the reservations department and the hotel.
  10. Ensure all directions are followed at the request of Senior Management
  11. Manage the room inventory to maximize yield per available room
  12. Educate team members on local, Regional, and Corporate programs
  13. Analyse the impact of promotional programs
  14. Update and maintain all 3rd party websites on a daily basis
  15. Update and maintain GDS – TARS & Hotel Distribution
  16. Set daily selling hurdle and market rate to maximize yield
  17. Implement an upselling program
  18. Maintain communication of any changes to Senior management
  19. Create and Communicate overbooking policy and adjust according to market mix, daily movements, historical wash, and lead times
  20. Conduct competition analysis for all main reservation channels
  21. Record turn-aways in PMS
  22. Update daily Pickup report
  23. Review no-shows with DOSM and decide about charging fees
  24. Control all reservation movements for standard coding with direct feedback and monthly training on mistakes
  25. Ensure correct market segmentation of gained business
