About The Team

We are an international team creating the Android payment Terminals for all our offers from our offices in both France, Spain and India. We aim to create an easy-to-use payment framework upon which any Worldline team can build to serve their own customers. Reliability, openness and ease of integration are our values. You will join a team of experts in payment who are pushing the limits to serve the customers of Worldline faster and better.

Responsibilities

1. Architect and implement next-generation solutions for Android Terminals
2. Be a champion for best practices and industry standards on Android / Kotlin ecosystem
3. Scope, design, implement, and deploy robust solutions, making appropriate tradeoffs between reliability, throughput, latency, resiliency, engineering velocity and cost
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance observability, security, and compliance across our infrastructure
5. Uphold our high engineering standards and improve our codebase and processes
6. At least 6 years of working experience in complex environments in a similar position, with a consistent track record.
7. Previous experience with Kotlin programming language and exposure to Android ecosystem. Working knowledge on Jetpack & Compose libraries

Preferred Qualifications

1. Fintech / payment domain experience, especially on Nexo and CB
2. Strong background in performance analysis, systems debugging, and API design
3. Experience with JVM ecosystem and active knowledge on Android OS internals
4. Being a generalist working on whatever it takes to solve problems and deliver projects
5. Can put yourself in the shoes of your users and be a steward of crafting great experiences
