We are seeking an experienced and skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic Development Team, with a principal focus on designing, developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, alongside their underlying technical environments. Through successful collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Full-Stack Developer will develop scalable and user-friendly web solutions; all of which underpinned by a strong understanding of front- and back-end development and an innate passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web applications (HTML, CSS, TypeScript/JavaScript)
  • Design, implement and test APIs and Services (PHP, MySQL, SQLite)
  • Design, implement and test responsive web components and user interfaces (Angular)
  • Deploy and maintain our current and future web/cloud infrastructures (AWS -EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, CloudFront , IaC -Ansible, Terraform-, Docker, Python)
  • Implement and test website features and functionalities (WordPress & Shopify)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements
  • Troubleshoot and solve issues with existing web applications
  • Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability and responsiveness
  • Maintain abreast of the latest industry trends and best practices in web development, infrastructure and security

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5 to 10 years of experience
  • Proven experience working as a Web Developer / Full-Stack Engineer
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Proficiency in web and cloud infrastructure maintenance
  • Proficiency in back-end programming languages (i.e. Python or PHP)
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Working knowledge in French and English
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Effective communication and team-working ability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude
