Job Description

• Act as a finance business partner and share with peers and team all key decisions within finance area
• Lead, manage and co-ordinate budgeting process (month-end closing, year-end closing; annual budget and strategic plan circle) as well as financial planning and management
• Measure and drive the performance initiatives within company business lines (but also identifies various opportunities within this area)
• Participation in strategic decision settings regarding CX, development projects and procurement spending
• Control all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems
• Oversee the audit (statutory and internal) - review and analyse the results and recommend for approval the audited financial statements
• Control and manage the working capital and cash levels
• Continuous improvement of internal control (SOX requirements) environment
• Drive improvement in SAP governance and process compliance
• Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company's financial affairs
• Provide commercial and financial insight, support, management and control for the company Management Board

The Successful Applicant

• Strong academic background with professional accounting qualification
• Background within a large enterprise, reporting into a company Group and a proven track record in a finance leadership role
• Manufacturing/Industrial experience is highly desirable
• Proven post-qualification experience in managing teams
• Good knowledge of management accounting, budgeting, and reporting methods
• Excellent communication skills are essential as well as good IT knowledge (ideally having implemented or upgraded an ERP system in previous roles)
• Experience of implementing process improvements initiatives
