As part of our expansion, Foyer Global Health is seeking for a:


Policy Administrator (m/f)


As Policy Administrator, you will assist our individual and group clients in all insurance policy-related matters and offer support throughout the full policy lifecycle. You will work in a team to diligently administer the insurance policies in accordance with internal and external guidelines and regulations. We are looking for dynamic and creative people that want to contribute to improving client experience every day.


Your Tasks:


  1. Support our clients with all insurance policy-related requests throughout the full policy lifecycle.
  2. Ensure that all tasks are performed within the foreseen turnaround times, providing a high level of customer service at all times.
  3. Maintain and document accurate records within our IT systems, including all communication with clients and stakeholders.
  4. Escalate any complaints or call backs in a timely manner.
  5. Verify the accuracy and completeness of the given information and obtain additional information if necessary.
  6. Assess risks and determine premium loadings or exclusions in close collaboration with the Medical Department.
  7. Handle the creation of new insurance policies.
  8. Communicate with policyholders to explain the policy and underlying processes.
  9. Undertake other business activities and tasks as required, ensuring ongoing operational effectiveness, efficiency, and a positive contribution to Foyer Global Health.

Your Profile:


We are looking for a new colleague with the following areas of expertise:

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in business, medical or related field from an accredited college or university, or 2 years of experience, preferably in an insurance or medical-related field. First experience with direct customer service is preferred.
  2. PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to effectively manage computer technology, typing, and word processing.
  3. Strong customer focus with diplomatic communication skills at all levels, both verbally and in writing, to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  4. A positive, helpful attitude, willing to work cooperatively with other team members, with good commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions with the “bigger picture” in mind.
  5. Able to effectively communicate with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  6. Able to work in a team as well as autonomously and exercise professional judgment, identifying when it becomes appropriate to escalate a problem.
  7. Well-organized, accurate, and attentive to detail, with the ability to prioritize work and multitask to meet deadlines.
  8. Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a high degree of judgment, especially when working with confidential information.
  9. Highly adaptable, with a flexible approach to work, willing to do what is required to ensure that the team achieves its objectives while remaining focused on quality.
  10. A proactive approach to work with analytical problem-solving skills.
  11. Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  12. You are fluent in German and English (French and any other language skills would be considered an asset).
