Job Description

We are looking for our new intern for a 6-months internship.
As a member of the operations team, you will:

Play a key role in:

1. Automating internal tasks to improve the efficiency of the team.
2. Developing and maintaining reliable and agile interfaces with carriers, customers, and several telematic providers.
3. Coordinating data integration projects with carrier partners and customers, in particular with their ERP or TMS solutions in relation to their IT department.

Have the opportunity to:

1. Design and propose solutions / patches to automate interface processes.
2. Work on a daily basis with the Product Managers, devs, and business teams.
3. Develop, write and maintain technical documents and support materials for the support teams.

Have the chance to:

1. Provide technical support in case of incidents.
2. Monitor production integrations with KPIs and dashboards.
3. Propose processes to constantly increase the quality and speed of interfaces.

The integrations concern incoming and outgoing flows:

1. Transport orders.
2. Incidents on transport orders.
3. GPS positions.

Your responsibilities will also include:

1. Write scripts to automate internal tasks using Python, Zapier, and other automation tools.
2. Work closely with the rest of the Operations team to execute all carrier onboarding-related activities.
3. Lead technical specifications and monitor the delivery of integrations as planned and designed.
4. Monitor the status of the current integrations, specifically carrier and telematics to ensure that everything is working as expected.

Qualifications

You are our next Shippian if you:

1. Fluent in English (French or Italian or German are a plus).
2. Very interested in how IT systems work (technically speaking).
3. A former developer or freelance (including university or personal projects).
4. Able to take concrete actions, to argue, to establish consensus, to collaborate with business and technical teams.
5. Dynamic, optimistic, autonomous, and reactive.
6. Structured, synthetic, and attentive to detail.
7. Completing your Engineering studies.
